(This can be removed by hand)<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">When the front plate is removed, detach the side plate of the switch. (Do not apply glue near the area of the outlet)<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">Find where the outlet is located and feel the corners of the metal plate.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">As you find the corners of the metal plate, use a cutter to cut the wallpaper on the corner of the metal plate.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-431 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/www.honpo.com.sg\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/03\/yak-howto03.jpg\" alt=\"how to paste wallpaper around objects\" width=\"750\" height=\"240\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.honpo.com.sg\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/03\/yak-howto03.jpg 750w, https:\/\/www.honpo.com.sg\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/03\/yak-howto03-300x96.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 750px) 100vw, 750px\" \/><\/p>\n<ol start=\"7\">\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">When cutting, make sure to cut a x pattern as shown by the red lines in the picture.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">Afterwards, flip the cut wallpaper, uncovering the power outlet.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">Make a crease along wallpaper along the edges of the power outlet using a bamboo spatula.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-430 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/www.honpo.com.sg\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/03\/yak-howto04.jpg\" alt=\"wallpaper installation guide final steps\" width=\"750\" height=\"240\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.honpo.com.sg\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/03\/yak-howto04.jpg 750w, https:\/\/www.honpo.com.sg\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/03\/yak-howto04-300x96.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 750px) 100vw, 750px\" \/><\/p>\n<ol start=\"10\">\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">Cut the extra pieces of the wallpaper using a cutter and a ground spatula.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">After the wallpaper is glued, remove the glue on the outlet with a sponge.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">Put the removed plate coverings back and it&#8217;s done.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">It&#8217;s quite easy isn&#8217;t it! The real challenge would be to locate the edges of the power outlet. Usually, the edges would be hidden by the metal plate.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">For appliances that cannot be removed from the wall, such as air-conditioners or intercom,
