Has anyone not seen this masterpiece? This is the Great Wave off the coast by Kanagawa. It is also known as The Great Wave, one of the most famous Japanese arts in the world. His prints circulated widely throughout Europe and became a source of inspiration for artists. That’s why this masterpiece was the inspiration for the Japanese Wave Wallpaper.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

The Great Wave off Kanagawa is a woodblock print by Japanese ukiyo-e artist Hokusai. It was roughly made in late 1831 during the Edo period of Japanese history. The print depicts three boats moving through a storm-torn sea and a huge wave swirling in the center. In addition, Mount Fuji is visible in the background.\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
