Our Client
Wants
Like previous projects for other places, Paul Bakery Cafe wanted a mural wallpaper that could strengthen the classic European bakery ambiance while introducing a natural visual element. The owner wanted the restaurant to feel calm, elegant, and immersive for all spots. So, the mural that we chose needed to complement the cafe's interior identity without overpowering the space. It needs to create a refined backdrop that enhances the dining atmosphere and encourages a relaxed customer experience.
The Detail of the
Nature Mural Wallpaper
The nature mural wallpaper used in this project comes from the Rebel Walls collection available at Honpo, specifically the Bellewood design that highlights forest scenery and botanical elements. This mural wallpaper is designed to recreate the feeling of being surrounded by trees and natural foliage, helping the cafe interior reflect a classic European ambiance that reels calm timeless and immersive. The composition blends delicate trunks, layered greenery, and soft tones that visually expand the space while maintaining warmth for dining areas.
Bellewood is produced as a mural wallpaper printed per wall dimension, allowing the pattern to appear continuous and seamless across large surfaces. The material uses a non-woven base that supports durability and ease of installation, making it suitable for commercial interiors such as cafes and restaurants. Its detailed landscape motif creates depth and character, turning a plain wall into a storytelling visual element that enhances the overall customer experience.
From a design perspective, this mural supports the classic European cafe theme by combining natural scenery with a refined visual structure. Forest-inspired imagery and soft colour palettes help build a welcoming and elegant dining environment without overwhelming the furniture and lighting elements. The mural becomes a focal backdrop that complements wood finishes, warm lighting, and bakery displays typically found in European-style cafes.
Before
Transformation
Before installation, the wall was a plain white surface combined with decorative green wainscoting. While the wainscoting added a classic European touch, the part that was still plain still felt empty ano lacked visual depth to fully support the cafe's ambiance. The contrast between the clean white wall and the decorative panel created a base structure, but it did not yet deliver the warm, immersive atmosphere expected for a bakery cafe environment.
After
Transformation
After installation, the atmosphere of the space changed dramatically. The mural introduced depth, texture, and a strong visual identity that complemented the existing green wainscoting instead of competing with it. The forest-inspired design brought a soft European countryside feel into the cafe that made the wall look more curated and experiential. With this installation, the area no longer feels like a standard decorated wall. It becomes a focal point that enhances the cafe's European theme, improves visual layering, and makes the overall interior feel more inviting and memorable for guests. You can see the result from the pictures.
If you mind decorating your F&B or retail shop space to look something different, you can discuss with us in detail what you want.
